This looks interesting.

We Love the Women That Fandom Hates. And I'm contemplating it. But Irene Adler or Mary Morstan? I mean, is killing off Mary (which is canonical, blast it) really a form of fannish distaste or is it canonical fidelity?

And will my brain manage to stay online long enough to actually finish something?

Hmm.

Frustration is finally breaking through the writer's block long enough to write. And then having the stuff you've written be for anonymous gift exchanges where you can't get feedback until the fics are posted and can't acknowledge the feedback even if you get it until the reveal.

*headdesk*

In lieu of having something to post in my own name, I offer a meme, gacked from [livejournal.com profile] janeturenne. And I think I've seen it elsewhere on my flist, but I was semiconscious at the time.

If you had to pick one fic of mine that is the one you identify with me, what would it be?

Considering that I have now been posting fic long enough to occasionally go back and read something and be surprised that I wrote it, I'm not sure if it's possible to actually answer that question. But maybe y'all are cleverer than I!

From [livejournal.com profile] rubynye, who inspired me to give this a try: (If nothing else, it might break the writer's block.)

Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

Any fandom you've seen me write before is fair game. I'll try to come back with at least three of the possibilities.
