Go! Read! It's a great chapter, especially for Frodo fans, I'm sure. But oh, oh, oh! Sam and Aragorn are for it now!

Okay, first off a confession... I've seen this story as it's taken shape. So I know at least some of what's coming. But I've also been waiting very impatiently to rec it.

Endurance Without Hope is by Bill the Pony. It's Frodo/Sam, definitely NC-17 and angsty, so consider yourself warned if you don't like any of those kinds of stories.

It's also a Sam and Frodo are reunited in Valinor fic.

Do you know how very seldom I read anything set in Valinor? I can count the fics I've liked on this subject on the fingers of one hand and still have fingers left over. (Well, okay, if you include drabbles I'd have to use both hands, but still...) At any rate, this one I like. A lot. Here is a Sam who has lived a long and happy life in the Shire, a hobbit who has come in hopes of regaining a possibility that had seemed lost to him, but has no regrets for enjoying all the possibilities he had in Middle Earth. And here is a Frodo who has healed in many ways, but has nearly lost as much as he gained in his choice to sail away.

belegcuthalion has begun a new story! I've only read the first installment, but I am bouncing madly, waiting for more! She and jodancingtree worked out a plot after I had bewailed the lack of Sam h/c out there, but being who she is, she's come up with something that looks to be absolutely fascinating, rich with intrigue and good characterization as well as danger and hobbits! It's set in Minas Tirith after the Quest, and that's all I'm going to tell you...

I am doing the up and down thing. I feel okay for a bit and then I want to lie down. My sister is having a wonderful time rearranging my living room. This is a major endeavor, as it is full of bookcases, etc. But it's going to look good when she's done.

Right now I'm getting all bruised and green around the incision. Looks yicky, but it doesn't hurt much because I seem to be managing the meds better this round. I just don't concentrate so good. When we can see the door again we'll go for a short walk and that will be nice. The weather is actually really good right now.
