rabidsamfan: samwise gamgee, I must see it through (Default)

A lot of my flist have offered ficlets and drabbles for the holidays, and seeing that's what I specialize in, I thought I should get on board too, with the caveat that it might take me longer than a month and a half to coax the bunnies you offer into decent shape. And I'll be honest, some bunnies just don't bite...

What I write best are gapfillers, or p.o.v. drabbles looking at events from the story from a different point of view. I've never successfully managed smut, of any persuasion, beyond about PG13.

So if you'd like a drabble from me (or a ficlet if it won't cooperate as a drabble) let me know.

I'd love it if you wrote Sam remembering Gandalf, after he fell in Moria or even after he has left for the Grey Havens :)

Okay, I came up with something here (http://www.livejournal.com/~rabidsamfan/95433.html). I hope it's what you wanted! (If not, have you seen my drabble Grieving for Gandalf (http://www.livejournal.com/users/rabidsamfan/57614.html)?)

Ooooh... Lovely!

I'd like to see Sam's thoughts (perhaps bewildered, fascinated, uneasy, admiring) as he watches Frodo dance on the table at the Prancing Pony.

*Hoping that that bunny might bite* :)

Oh goodness! I hate to impose, but I would certainly love one of your drabbles - if the inspiration strikes you. My favorite characters are Boromir, Faramir, and Pippin. Or any lovely blend of the three. :)

I would love a drabble from Marigold's point of view when the Four Travelers come home to the Shire and save the day, or even after that, when Sam is going all over the Shire replanting the trees.

Gosh.

I went through my plotbunny files, and found this one that I think you'd do better than I would:

"Bell Gamgee's Pans". Genfic. The story of Bell's cast iron heirloom pans, the ones Sam took to Mordor. Inspired by chatting with [livejournal.com profile] febobe.

I'd love a gapfiller from Aragorn's pov, just after when on the way to Rivendell (after he's been stabbed) he's forced to trek on foot for a time because of the rocky terrain and he then collapses (sorry, that sentence made almost no sense but I'll bet you get what I'm trying to say, lol).

Wheee! Drabbles! How nice of you!
I'd love a Frodo h/c gap filler piece. Let's see, how about Bilbo taking care of Frodo in Rivendell before he awakens?

I'd love to make you a Christmas present of a desktop. Tell me what you want and I'll put it together. I don't do explicit or slash desktops though.

Well, it's not exactly hurt/comfort, but it's Bilbo anyway (http://www.livejournal.com/~rabidsamfan/94987.html).

I'd love a Sam desktop, if you'll tell me how to work it so I'm not getting the picture off the internet. stuff with Sam looking practical or determined is good -- not fighting Gollum, please, though fighting Shelob, orcs, or cave trolls is okay.

Thanks!

Well it's not a drabble, but a ficlet. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/rabidsamfan/96571.html) On the other hand it is F/S and actually mildy smutty! (and the answer to your question is yes, of course...) I hope you enjoy!
