I hate going to the doctor.
Jan. 30th, 2008 03:56 pmNot that he's a bad doctor or anything like that. And not that I mind being a guinea pig for medical students (although the one I met yesterday looked all of sixteen*.) It's just that the symptom which drives me to the clinic after annoying me for days always frickin' disappears for the time that I'm at the doctor's office, and then shows up again in spades two hours after I get home again.
And then it calls up friends. Today I'm running a fever and getting dizzy spells. Did either of those things bother me yesterday at the clinic? No.
*sigh* Fortunately, my co-workers would rather I stayed home and didn't share so I have been sent home and told NOT to come in tomorrow. Now all I need is a delivery of chicken soup...
*I have to give Doogie a little credit though. He suggested swimmer's ear as a possible cause of the earache (in spite of the accompanying sore throat and post nasal drip) and I decided to go ahead and use my Aura-dry on the worst ear this morning and it seems to have helped some.
