If the military is planning and practicing for a strike in Iran, and the officers and men who disagree with that are being reassigned, we've got serious problems.
When Congress reconvenes, you need to declare, absolutely, that there will not be one more damn dime going into the war on terror, worldwide, until Bush concedes that he cannot usurp the powers of Congress or the Constitution. NO EXECUTIVE ORDER MAY BE VALID UNTIL IT IS CONFIRMED BY A MAJORITY OF BOTH HOUSES. HABEAS CORPUS APPLIES TO ALL US PRISONERS WHO ARE NOT PRISONERS OF WAR UNDER THE GENEVA CONVENTION. No seizure of property without a search warrant, no private prisons, no category of "enemy combatant" at all, thank you very much, but most of all NO WAR ON OR IN IRAN WITHOUT A DECLARATION OF WAR FROM CONGRESS.
