the bunny needs nudging

RL has kind of left me spinning around in circles, and my poor wistful Bergil bunny is sitting waiting. I need a nudge or two. Should I a) go back and revise the last bit to mention the underbed crockery so Bergil gets a chance to remember that the Ringbearer isn't a deity? b) have Pippin intervene and save the poor child? c) bring in Merry and breakfast? d) something else?

Any ideas are welcome. I may pick something else entirely, but I do need the nudge.
