Went and saw Terry Pratchett at the main library tonight. It was marvelous. Not an overflow crowd, but as Pterry pointed out, most everyone who wanted to see him went to WorldCon. Which I missed, because I'd been ill so much this month. But seeing TP made up for it. He is amazing and wonderful and funny in person as well as in books. I wish he'd write a short autobiography for kids/YAs. It'd be wonderful to set alongside "Boy" by Roald Dahl.
