For the second time this year I have had a cancer scare. First it was skin cancer, in a place I didn't know you could GET skin cancer, which required a biopsy. Now it was a mammogram that I had to go back for, and which turned out, thank goodness, to just be that I have naturally lumpy structures that look funny when they're squished. Thank heaven for ultrasounds. I should be relieved. I mean, heck, I got off relatively light from the thyroid cancer, and my endo is positive that's all gone, so I get to call myself a cancer survivor now.

But I am so very tired of the strain.

The oncoming hurricane seems mild in comparison.

**Massive Huggling**

I'm so sorry you had another scare like that. I totally agree! It is time for all the nonsense to stop. We all deserve a bit of a break.

**More hugs**

Medical issues are no bueno. Are you doing alright otherwise?

*hugs tight*

I'm so sorry you got another scare! I'm very relieved it's benign though. I hope there aren't any scares like this for yuu in the future.

I hope that's the last scare for you! What a stressful year.

I had thyroid cancer about 20 years ago - thankfully it was encapsulated so I never needed any chemo or radiation. I've been on Synthroid (or whatever they call the synthetic hormone now) since then with no side effects (except my metabolism is slightly slower and I gained about 20 lbs immediately...)

I also have "lumpy breasts" and almost always get called back for a second mammogram. My right boob apparently is lumpy. Who knew?

I'm glad that the danger seems to be over. But yes, enough is enough.

Ack, cancer scares are so horrible *hugs* I'm glad it was nothing to worry about, but that doesn't mean the experience wasn't draining and utterly awful.
