I just got back from seeing it, and it lived up to all of my expectations. Granted, I'm not as big a Holmes fan as you, but I've read and liked all of the books, and I think they did a fabulous job. And I loved the soundtrack.
*bounce bounce bounce* I hope it makes lots of money so they do a sequel! Which it might, since I strongly suspect I'll be going to see it tomorrow night after work...
