A few years ago, I started a LotR story for belegcuthalion and between one thing and another I never finished it. She reminded me of it when I did the "Stories never written" meme, so I sent her the middleless beginning-and-end I still had on my harddrive and she very kindly finished it herself.

It's over here, and I think it turned out rather well for all that it's a patchwork.

I love Bilbo too. He's so much fun to write! (Partly because there's a bit of an edge to him after all those years of carrying the Ring.)
