And it's all [livejournal.com profile] serai1's fault. She posted a couple of videos here and then figured out that the children were chanting "Pythagoras Switch". Then I searched the term at YouTube and found lots more gadgets. They're curiously soothing to watch.

Of course, having watched a bunch of gadgets I decided to click on the Algorithm March... The ninjas are a nice touch.

And then there's this.

*wanders off singing Japanese badly*

ETA: It appears to be a generic Youtube addiction. Found some Dave Allen too.

And another funny video. This one is [livejournal.com profile] elendiari's fault.

There's more? Eeek! I shall go look and see...

Also, check this out. It's a Goldberg contraption made at a nature preserve entirely from raw natural materials: sticks, stones and twine.

Ahaha! New addictions are fun, aren't they?

I've been saving all these onto my hard drive. They are totally trippy. I'm going to spend endless hours hypnotized by this stuff, I just know it.

Cool. How do you save them, btw? I found a site called keepvid, but I guess I need a player for the videos to watch them.

You can get a free .flv player here.

Also included with that should be the Riva Encoder, which you can use to convert the flash files to .mpeg or .wmv, so they'll play on regular players. There's a trick to it, so let me know when you have it, and I'll show you how to convert the files. :)

Also, are you on Firefox? There's an extension for it that will grab flash files and save them for you.

It is a bit, isn't it? But fun. And it must be oddly popular for all those guys at the prison to cooperate in doing the algorithm march.
