Saturday: cleaned frantically, read old fanfic whenever the asthma got too dicey for cleaning.

Sunday: cleaned in morning, had actual social life in afternoon.

Monday: had social life AGAIN! Went to park with amusements as opposed to amusement park, watched Krazy Kat in a nickelodeon, played skeeball, ate junkfood, went to shop and bought games and books. Saw tall ship leaving harbor, heading for Maine. Only disappointment of day: Sudoku book that promised would be hard, but last and theoretically hardest puzzle in back only took twenty minutes to solve. Didn't even last the whole train ride.

Am tired now...

My sudoku skills seem 2 have deteriorated during the past few years! I envy anyone who can do them quickly without headache!

I got very methodical long ago, and there are very few puzzles which don't succumb to the method. It ain't pretty, but it works.

Whoops, Stanley got closed during one of the rounds of "what's wrong with the computer this time?" this week. I'll see what I can do.

It's the Friendship, out of Salem, and it's going to... Something Harbor that starts with a b, only it isn't Bar Harbor, because I'd remember that... Is there a Broad Harbor?

Oh, and are you anywhere near one of the stops of the Downeaster Train?

I don't think there's a Broad Harbor - Boothbay Harbor, perhaps? That's sort of mid-coast.

Closest stop of the Downeaster Train for me is its northern terminus in Portland, which is about 2 to 2 and a half hours drive from me. And the funny thing about that train name? Mainers would tell you that it really doesn't go to 'downeast.' 'Downeast' is the area around Bar Harbor, Machias, etc. ;)

Boothbay doesn't ring a bell, exactly, but it could be. I only looked at the sign in the National Park HQ briefly, and my mind was on other things.

I'm contemplating taking the train up for a day or two, just to get out of town, but I haven't worked out what I'll do once I get there yet.

Let me know when you're coming - if I'm not on call, I might be able to meet you somewhere...

Sounds like a very nice weekend. Except for the astma of course. ;)

The asthma, alas, is endemic to my life. It just likes housecleaning a whole lot better than I do.

Hooray for sociality!

And speaking of which we need to figure out that Wagamama's run...
