Been writing about poor Watson having nightmares, right?

So, naturally, I had a nightmare wake me up.

But instead of something useful, or traumatic, like monsters, what did I have a nightmare about?

Buying shoes...

They were really ugly shoes, okay?

Shopping for clothes of any sort is a nightmare, in my book.

(smut tale? ears prick up hopefully, hoping something of that sort is going to come up...?)

Smut tale, yes. And it will probably be finished tomorrow evening. Want to see the first half? I can post it under the filter.

I don't buy 'em often, and I have certain styles I tend to stick to. But yeah, it's a pain in the patoot.

I shouldn't be laughing, but I am. Poor baby, anything can be a nightmare given the right circumstances.

Oh, I laughed too, once I was properly awake.

If I'm going to spend that much money -- even in a dream -- I'd like it to be for something I at least think is useful...

I don't know - buying shoes can be pretty scary...

My nightmares always seem to involve all my hair or my teeth falling out...

*any chance of reading about poor Watson having nightmares?* ;)

I bunged up a character's shoulder once and then managed to break my collarbone...

It is dangerous, being a writer. Ideas get into the ether and then everything goes to Habakkuk.
