I have several things/people/tasks I ought to be doing/have done/be done with and instead I have been busy being pulled through a book for the second time in two weeks...

It probably doesn't hurt that I got a late Christmas present on Monday and as a result had one of those lovely lunches where all you do is put food in your mouth. (I usually do a puzzle or read or... well, you get the idea.) But I couldn't ignore salad with zucchini and squash and grape tomatoes and red peppers and just a touch of salad dressing. Perfect for a day when lunch was just about the only time I ever sat down!

To those of you waiting to hear from me, I'm going to try to be industrious tomorrow, I just need to find my brain!

Oh... There is a downright sexual joy in a melange of good fresh vegetables in the middle of winter, a touch of spring. I'd say that was excuse enough to skip a few writing obligations. (Don't get me started on ratatouille...)
