How about fingerless cycling gloves over a very thin pair of gloves. Warmer than mitts alone, but you can still type. I have been freezing this winter as my rooms have no heating, but my cycling mitts have nice wrist-covering bits.

Thank goodness for thermal undies.

Hooray for soup indeed. *wishes she could offer the warm fireplace of Bag End (or Kelpie Cottage - your choice)*

And it always feels so much colder in a damp climate.
Sweaters, hugs, warm tea, fuzzy socks, really good sex scenes... whatever gets the circulation going.

You missed the 5" of snow we got in Denver on Monday anyway -- bugging out on Sunday was reaaaaally good timing. (Was supposed to be 1-3" in the metro area, but I was shoveling ankle-deep, believe me.)

Hang in there, it might get to 68 in the apartment by Friday...
