Oh dear!

I've had waterbeds for 25 years, with no major problems.

I've woken up wet twice. But the other time was with an old fashioned waterbed that held a gazillion gallons. That was a LOT more exciting.

Oh no!! :(

I've never slept on one, but I've always suspected it would be a wonderful experience unless they broke

Okay, you're having a no-good very bad terrible horrible week.
I hope the water and the damage were confined, and that it's something a trusty patch kit can repair.

I love those things too, but I'm starting to think it's time to switch to something I can climb out of on my stiff mornings.

Tell Jess I love him too, but I'm not feeling better just yet. Working on it, though.

The soft sided waterbed is easy to climb out of, but by the time you notice the water is loose, it's got a lot more layers wet.

Loooong ago I had a queen waterbed. If it'd leaked there would've been a flood.

Actually, when I had a "super single" waterbed, the liner worked beautifully when it broke, and the floor stayed dry. I didn't, of course. But I was able to pretty much pump the water out with a garden hose without damaging the rest of the apartment.
