I recently found someone else's e-text on the net, and clunked through replacing names to count them because I haven't got a keyword frequency program and can't find one I understand how to use, but this is how often the name forms appear and where.  And no I couldn't find the appendices too...

Yes, and Frodo is one of the few characters who doesn't go by another name. Although I haven't searched "Ringbearer" (which I would have to break down because it refers to more than one hobbit.)

I should search Bilbo too -- and Eomer. Can you think of anyone else?

Ringbearer would be a good search -- but Tolkien sometimes hyphenates it. I still don't think it would change the dynamic much, but interesting to see. *must dash, more later!*
