Why Am I Awake?

I have no brain cells.
I have no ambition.
I have no energy.

I have neighbors who are having a lovely barbecue fifteen feet from my window, and they are actually NOT playing loud music, although they are having a conversation I could understand if it were in English. But I have lots of pillows. I could bury myself.


So why am I awake?

I have a dentist appointment in the morning.

There is always noise in my building so I've grwon used to it. Last night someone played music I actually like pretty high but it was too loud so they were forced to turn it down pretty quickly. Which of course I was glad for since I needed to sleep. If I'm not too sleepy I sometimes like listening to the parties going on for a little while. Especially in summer when they are outdoors. Makes me think of out door summer parties I've been to myself.

Good luck with the dentist. I hope you get some sleep.

I did get to sleep eventually. But I'm still not looking forward with anything approaching happiness to the dentist. I think I've gotten phobic after all this mess with the tooth. Which still hurts, just not as bad as it did.

The book is here. Sorry I forgot to say thanks for it. It's a fascinating read.

I think I'm dentist-phobic, now. I really really really don't want to go, but I don't want to pay a 70 dollar fee for not showing up either.

At least I don't have a headache this morning. *wants to go hide under blankies*
