I'm so sorry for this random email disguised as a comment - i'm not so familiar with the ways of the life journal yet!! I am writing to you because I remember your name from comments to mariole's journal entries and here is what this is all about: I have just discovered that mariole has deleted her account just as I was about to finish her beautiful, haunting ‘devoted’ series – you do remember it don’t you? I know, I have discovered it just recently though it has been two years since she posted it...yes, so now I am writing to you, hoping (nay, praying!) that you can provide me with an email address for mariole or pass mine on to her (how would we go about doing this? May I friend you?) so I can both comment on her amazing storytelling and ask her if she can provide me with the missing three chapters of ‘devoted’; it all ended for me when gandalf, sam, merry and frodo finished building the safe – now I’m dying to know whether sam will move into bag end instead of a doberman guard dog and how it all will tie up - I am so hooked! Will you be my life saver?

Well, the good news is that I know that Mariole is only away from livejournal temporarily. I'm not sure when she'll be back, but I know she will. The bad news is that I don't have an e-mail for her. You're welcome to friend me, but lately I haven't written much of anything to do with LotR. You're better off checking my memories and reading the fics linked there.

Erm...about 'devoted'...do you remember how it ended? Will you tell me, please? *squirm*...I am dying to know what happened after they finished building the safe for frodo's belongings, whether sam and frodo lived and shagged happily ever after or whether sam got over his crush eventually - though I fear 'tis the latter...
