Man, those user agreements are getting downright vicious! Oh, well, I didn't want to spend money there anyway.

Feeling a little better this afternoon. Apparently I take to activism like a duck to water. Too bad I got pushed in, hey? I feel a little better because a couple of people I've talked to who I expected to be more on the Right have been pretty darn indignant about the idea of anyone from the US using torture, and even more indignant when I explained what's happened to habeus corpus. Not that I think we should give the Democrats a free ride if we get them control of Congress, mind! But this "one party has all the toys" crap has got to go.

Don't give up, dear. It's much too easy to simply let things happen. You know, your concern and anger, that is true patriotism. Bush and his cronies wouldn't recognize true patriotism even if it was dangling right in front of their noses. They keep misusing the whole great, american idea.

Sorry for re-reposting. I'm terribly tired.

Sokay. I usually get your comments twice anyway. I don't know why.

Man, you *do* find the scariest things! A real warning to *read* those damned agreements. Sigh. Boy, do I hate 'em, but you gotta do it!

Glad the activism is "paying off". I'm amazed that *anyone* thinks thiss bill is a good idea. Besides Bush, that is...

Most people don't seem to understand it. And one guy I talked to about looking at the analysis of how bad it was was like, "The New York Times"? That's a biased source, isn't it?

Cheesh!

It's not so much "one party has all the toys" (which BTW the Repugnicans would scream for 6 years nonstop if Demos ran all three branches) -- it's that sickening blending of Republican control and Religious-Right Christian fascism bubbling through Bush's serene belief that he is never wrong. I'm nearly at the point where I want to erect a guillotine outside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue -- SOMEONE who's actually read a book may have to explain the symbolism to Chimpy-Boy.

You want to protest in DC, you gotta get approval first. What do you mean, right to peacable assembly? Free Speech? Who needs that?

Always glad to stumble across another left of center activist. Keep up the good work!
