Well, here goes
Mar. 17th, 2004 06:41 pmI've created a journal. I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with it yet, but here it is. This is all shirebound's fault. I think my free time has just wandered into an entirely new timezone. Yikes.
Well... here goes.
Well... here goes.

Date: 2004-03-17 03:58 pm (UTC)As you can see from my double drabble this morning, LJ is a wonderful place to post little creative bits. It's also a safe place to rant and rave and blow off steam (you can "lock" entries to just your friends, or make them private, or lock them to select "groups" of friends). Some folks use LJ as a diary, some to get or give support to others, some to be creative, but mostly it's used to keep a record of whatever you want to keep a record of.
If you go to someone's "user info" page (by clicking on the little human "head" next to their name-link, you'll see a row of icons. You can click on the first one (a human head with a plus-sign) if you want to "friend" someone. That way, you can have a place where the entries of your friends are all in one place, and you don't have to prowl from journal to journal. No one is ever obligated to "friend" you back if they choose not to.

Date: 2004-03-17 04:09 pm (UTC)Oh, if you didn't know, I'm known as Leah Beth on ff.net, and just Leah around LJ. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask. I'll be happy to help in whatever way I can. What I found most helpful when I started LJ earlier this year was reading the FAQs. They're really informative.
I'd like to friend you, if you don't mind.
And again, welcome to LJ!! :)

Date: 2004-03-17 04:10 pm (UTC)I still have a copy of "Fourteen Days" sitting on my dresser from where I printed it out to read and re-read a couple of weeks ago, so I hope you don't mind if I friend you.
wow.
Date: 2004-03-17 04:24 pm (UTC)I'm glad you're enjoying the stories. I just updated "Unlucky" today, with some trepidation. It's just not doing what I thought it would!

Date: 2004-03-17 06:47 pm (UTC)And I'm glad you like my fics. I've got bunches of unfinished stuff, but I'm trying to be good and not post it at ff.n in its current state.
Maybe I can use the LJ to get feedback on WIP or stuck chapters... It's a thought, anyway.

Re: I'm a day late, but...
Date: 2004-03-18 08:27 am (UTC)I stuck a link to my ff.n page at the bottom of the live journal -- eventually I'll figure out how to make it appear at the top in a sensible fashion, but that is not this day.
Yes, I'm going back to work now...
Thank you!
