rabidsamfan: samwise gamgee, I must see it through (Default)

When the letter had come, she had been sure it would be the end of days like this. The end of being strange, and different, and standing on the outside wondering how it was that people who were stupid in every way that counted were smarter than she was when it came to making friends. The end of being alone, and crying, and not knowing how to accept the half-hearted offers of help made through the thin wooden walls of the stall.

What good was being a witch when magic didn’t make anything any better anyway?

Wait…

What was that?

You are SO good. I know exactly what moment that is!

Oh, Hermione!

Oh, boy do I feel for poor Hermione - I think I used to be Hermione.

This is just lovely.

Wonderful. Poor girl - the moment before that scene in the bathroom was one of the very few when I wanted to slap Ron right in the face... because I knew how Hermione felt - much to clearly. *sighs*

You show so much emotion through Hermoine's eyes. I love it.

This is excellent! Poor Hermione, she really had it rough those first few months of school. Someone above said they used to be like this-I think I was, too. Definitely.

Oooh, thank you so much! Poor Hermione. She's my favorite character by far, and you're right, she must have thought things would be a lot different at Hogwarts. Good thing she has Harry and Ron most of the time later on.

*very pleased*

Lovely bit of exploration. Poor Hermione - how to have a bad day suddenly get dramatically worse! (Though I suppose it's the catalyst for things getting better, really, after what Ron and Harry do and how Hermione responds: a blessing in disguise, perhaps, but what a disguise!)

...

I'm not sure if this has to do with having just reread Balance, but until I got to the reviews I thought this was Myrtle.
