But only because I want everyone to be able to play.

If you can figure out why it works (I already have) and tell me in a comment how it works, then I'll write you a drabble. (Give me a clue about what you're interested in.) LotR, Sherlock Holmes, Emergency!, and Harry Potter, are all on my mind right now, but I'm willing to try other fandoms. Just if you've never seen me write in it, give me a LotR backup possibility.

I've got two variations on it, done by lovely people on my flist. I'd have to find the entry to figure out just who... (Must...find...brain...)

You can figure it out, though, really. It took me about ten minutes once I started fooling around instead of following the directions.

Still haven't figured it. But it's creepy it worked 8 out of the 10 times that I tried this. I'll have to try to figure it out again when I get back from dinner.

I can't tell you how it works, but I can tell you I tried it about five times and it was wrong four out of five. So how did you figure it out? *very curious*

Try seeing what difference it makes when you actually do the math they asked you to do, or just picked a random number...

*grumbles* I used to know how this thing would work but I have forgot I think. I think it has to do with how the math is done, but I can't say what it is more detailed than that. I refreshed the site a couple of times and the symbols change, and I believe that has to do with the letters they refer to in the alphabet. There are only 10 symbols and so there is a connection there.

Am I even remotely close? If so, then wee!Sam and Merry please. :D

It does have to do with how the math is done, but not the alphabet. And you're right about their being a limited assortment of symbols, but you're still not quite close enough. Try again! Wee!Sam and Merry is always fun...

Grr, I am so bad at figuring out these things. Even when I just randomly pick a number/symbol, it still gives me the symbol of the number I would have got if I'd don't the proper math.

You're really very close, you know. Keep trying! That you'd get the number you would have got if you'd done the math is a major clue.

*giggle* We had that going around here a few months ago. Junior attending promised exemption from his clinic if we could figure it out. ;)

So, did you have to attend the clinic or not?
