Bergil probably needs to be lulled to sleep? If you are too sad sometimes you fight sleep. Sam might sit him down in a comfy, warm place, give him warm milk and then tell him a really long ponderously boring story in a monotone till he dozes off then covers him with a blanket and lets him sleep? That is what Mom did to us as kids. I watch her doing it to the grandkids all the time.
