The guy who took a swing at me failed his "competent to plea" test and has been scooped up by the Immigration people, so chances are good I won't see him again.

Except in my nightmares. I've been seeing his fist miss my face by two inches every time I closed my eyes today.

fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck

I wonder if brandy to help me go to sleep tonight will make my stomach even worse.

Full agreement

Chamomile is supposed to be very soothing. When one of my babies had terrible screaming fits, the naturopath recommended a tablespoon of chamomile... and it calmed the little dear, somehow.

I drink the stuff when I *have* to--it tastes to me like I'd imagine grass might. But it is soothing. The same naturopath recommended it if I'd had too much caffeine. He said it's sort of the opposite.

*hugs*

Chamomile is a bit bitter, but is a supremely good calmant. Honey helps the bitterness, and is also good for a sour stomach. Adding lavendar to the tea will also help, as it is also a good calmant.
