This does look lovely - and definitely aimed at the fans of the 80s Russian films - Holmes' glasses, the boxing scene, the opening antagonism. Will have to see how these guys stack up against Vasily and Vitaly.
Oh, there are definitely touches meant for fans of the earlier version. But that bit with the violin and waking up Watson at the end is what tickles me most!
Oh, yes, the Ritchie influence is strong. But so is the original Russian version. And I suspect I'm going to have a blast. So happy there's an English trailer! With any luck that means it will get released worldwide!
