Holy moley...

How are they going to write themselves out of that one, how? Has Sherlock got his homeless network playing all of the folks on the street?

Poor John.

Seriously. All of those people were there to keep John from touching him or else he would know it was fake. Now how Sherlock and Molly pulled it off is another thing entirely.

Poor John. His heart is broken.

JOHN is shattered! I'm shattered!

Whoa, what a scene. I'm a bit weepy at the moment.

Wow.

It was amazing. And just... oh, gosh. And now I've got TWO John's in my head who have both seen their Sherlock's fall! GAH!

It's a poser, definitely. Certainly makes it hard to wait 'til next season!

But I think this one makes up for the previous two, though.

Okay, I totally cried. :-p Poor John and his 'don't be dead' line... *sniff*

Aside from the weepy-ness, I'm amused that the one plant mentioned in this ep (Rhododenron ponticum) was the same one used by Blackwood in the '09 movie to feign death. No idea if they're going to use that going forward, but I was tickled. :D

Also, I love what they've done with Molly. I suspect you're right at least to an extent about the homeless being the folks on the street, though I think Molly was also ready to signal people at the right moment (the people in the paramedic uniforms, at least, seemed real, based on the way they lifted Sherlock onto the gurney).

Yes, I caught the Rhododendron ponticum too. I love the way the two variations of Sherlock Holmes are playing against each other. And Molly was utterly brilliant.

But Sherlock had better have a truly amazingly good reason for staying dead. I wonder if his negotiations with Mycroft in Hound have anything to do with it?

HAHA! Yes, the Rhododendron ponticum! I thought of that, too!

"But you HAD NO PULSE! I felt your wrist and there was NO PULSE, Sherlock!"

"Rhododendron Ponticum, John! It's nectar can cause a person to fall into a coma so deep it appears to be death..."

*punch*

Gosh, if Gatiss and Moffat are going to borrow that from the movies I will laugh my ass off.

:D

Hm, that's an interesting thought. I'd have to go re-watch that part before I draw any conclusions...

Molly did it. Not entirely sure how, but I think that's how she helped him.
