1. What is the "theme" on your calendar this year?
Calendar? Er... I think I have one around here somewhere.
2. Do you read the newspaper every day?
Yes. I buy it for the library where I work.
3. What kind of shoes are you wearing right now?
I'm not.
4. What magazines do you subscribe to?
None actually -- I read the ones at work.
5. What is your favorite condiment?
ketchup, followed closely by a variety of salad dressings.
6. What was the first occupation you remember wanting to have?
Forest ranger.
7. Are you a green thumb?
Purple...
8. Did you have an imaginary friend when you were little?
Probably. But only for a day or two. Then I made up something new to tell stories about.
9. Do you floss regularly?
No. Except when I've just been yelled at by the poor dentist.
10. If you could still hang posters of celebrities on your walls and get away with it like when you were 12, who would be on your walls right now?
Lessee in the process of this move I've had to take down Sam and Frodo, Qui-Gon Jin (although I hated everything else about that movie), Snape, Harry's flying lesson, "Crucifer of Blood" - a Sherlock Holmes play, the monster from "Forbidden Planet", various characters from role playing games drawn by a friend, Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry, all my nieces and nephews, The Enterprise, an X-Wing fighter, Impulse, one of the Space Shuttles, Colorado mountains, a poster from Ladyhawke, and a few more I can't think of off the top of my head...
13. Do you keep shoe boxes or throw them away?
Keep. and stuff with stuff.
14. Would you be embarrassed if someone looked under your bed?
No, but they might be sneezing.
15. If you could be one character in book, who would you be?
At the moment? Kel from the "Protector of the Small" series by Tamora Pierce, but it changes over time.
16. What do you sleep in?
A waterbed.
17. What is your favorite word?
Spoon!
