What is this sleepiness thing and why is it transmissible via LJ?

Came home from work cranky and miserable, took a hot bath which helped and then succumbed to a two-hour nap attack. Woke up for an hour and managed to write one sentence and now I'm tempted to crawl back under the nice warm covers again.

Poor Bergil. It's gonna take him forever to go fetch that spoon unless I wake up in a fit of creativity at four a.m.

G'night all!

There does seem to be a "sleepy" virus going around. With 9 hours of sleep AND a nap, I'm still feeling sleepy and groggy right now and I think I could go to bed right now and sleep straight through till morning...

I've got today and tomorrow off, and I may spend them sleeping too...

Naps are good. No one should EVER be embarassed for taking a nap.

Long winter naps are the best...nice warm bath and then a nice warm bed and sleep for 2 or 3 hours...wake up and putter around the house, only to find yourself back in bed with a nice hot cup of something and a good book.

Nap Proudly!

I hurried through the latest chapter, the one previous to that, and the first chapter, with no time to comment.

Actually, I have little desire at the moment to read fanfic at all, and no desire to write, but your story grabbed me. I love Bergil. If I were one to squee I might've, reading the first paragraph. For some reason I have spent much time contemplating that period between Beregond's return from the Black Gate (and his life, and Bergil's during this time) and his coming before the King ("Of old, death was the penalty") and finding justice and wisdom.

I hope that last made sense.

Anyhow, do you know yet how far you'll take this? Will we see Beregond reprieved, and the celebration following? Or is this just a "slice of life"?

Sleep well. Sweet dreams. Hope you waken refreshed.

I'm not yet sure how far I will go. Like you, I'm interested in that gap between the time that they returned and the time that Beregond found out his fate. I can't imagine that Aragorn would effectively pardon him without sounding out the relations of the dead men first. I may have to move from Bergil's point of view to tell some of it though.

Still thinking... but I'm glad you're liking this. I may have to make Bergil's speech more formal in a rewrite -- I was rereading his encounter with Pippin last night -- but I'm pretty pleased with how it's going at the moment.

Not only is sleepiness LJ-transmittable, but colds are, too! Right after I caught cold, much of my friends-list seemed to catch one, too. Ah, we're *so* inter-connected!

Have a proper rest, dear. I'm sure Bergil won't mind.

Well, I'm up at 3AM again. Going to try and get a bit more sleep in a few minutes, as I have to work tomorrowtoday (bummer--had hoped to finally get our tree up)! Hope you get some rest.

When I was a kid we never put up our tree till Christmas Eve because it had to last till January 6th.

I hope you can get some rest too!

I have notice general sleepiness of the friends list, though I went to bed at 1 and was up at 8 bright-eyed and ready to go.

I'm sure Bergil will prefer to be written by a well-rested writer rather than one about to fall asleep on the keyboard.

Heheheh. I've slept a good bit and I'm still ready to go back to bed for a bit. Must be the week catching up with me. But I've got a few more paragraphs...

I know how you feel. I was up all night for various reasons on Friday and had to be at work Saturday at 07:30am. Went to work, came home and did lots of Christmas preparations, and then fell over near dead at 8pm only to wake up at 5am and am still going strong. I have no inner clock. Mine is missing or broken. Bergil will eventually get the spoon. He's a good lad. Get some rest.

What is this "inner clock" and where do I buy one?
