very nice job... i was confused when i first read it but realized it was in reply to Shirebound's plot bunny (which is the idea of my present ficlet ;) .. very nice drabble, rabidsamfan..i especially like the last two lines:
Perhaps when they’ve had a pint or two, they’ll find their tongues again. Perhaps when we’ve had a pint or two, this will feel like home again.
