It's fun watching KITT drive through the gaping plot holes. I wanted that car.

Definitely one of the fandoms where the fanfic was better than the source material tho...

Good grief. I think I was doing Michael/KITT slash (or something close, sort of very close friendship) in my head before I ever knew what slash, or indeed fanfic was. (And even before that there were Sam/Frodo friendship scenelets.) It never occurred to me to go back and look for actual fic now...

...er, I don't suppose you could point me at some, for old sake's sake? (Only if you happen to have refs handy, of course.)

I've no idea what was on after Knight Rider, not after all this time... But there was a period there where I actually watched television a lot, and even though the shows are a lot more sophisticated now I barely ever bother to turn the darn thing on...
