Oh...so sweet! But children can be quite startling sometimes in the way they absorb language. Once a friend of mine read her daughter a story about a girl and her bunny. The next day, the five-year old was found talking to her bunny like this "Oh, come here now my little bunny, I really want to caress your velvety fur." (it's funnier in Bahasa Indonesia, actually :) And the girl did this in so convincing a manner, as though people casually use the words caress and velvety in everyday conversation. While her parents stood behind her, torn between amazement and the urge to laugh out loud, she went on spouting lines literally taken from her bunny book.

Which makes me wonder, what words children raised on LoTR would pick up in the morning?
