I've been over on Hulu, watching the Ronald Howard/H. Marion Crawford tv shows and now that I've grown accustomed to Watson's Mustache (which I must say is the most vigorous of any Watson I've found) I must admit that I am becoming wildly fond of this adaptation. And this Watson!

(And it's well worth going to page 8 and starting at the beginning, by the way.)

I adore that series! The moustache, and the eyes. Crawford is like a walking emoticon. ^_^

"Vigorous mustache" made me giggle. It sounds like a Victorianism for... something.

Migosh, have you seen it?

And if you only knew what the recent discussions about Watson's mustache have been like at various comms you'd be certain it was a Victorianism for something.

He's wonderful. Talk about expressive eyebrows! And they let him be a powerful addition to Holmes's brain, too. I love the scripts as well. They occasionally indulge in "make Watson the humor", but they don't play him as a fool.

I'm very much hoping to find some time over my Thanksgiving break to do some serious investigating of this series...
