Yo, if any of y'all sell stuff on e-Bay, can you tell me a little bit about how it works? I'm a little intimidated by the darn thing, but I'm going to need to raise a little money.

It's actually very easy. If you already have an account to buy, all you have to do is click the 'sell your item' button and it'll take you through the whole set-up process. There are a lot of options for extras (extra pictures of whatever you're selling, etc.) that cost more (only maybe $.50, but still...), but you can ignore those if you want. You pick categories, sub categories, titles, and descriptions of your item, say where you'll ship to and what kind of payment you'll take, tell it how you want to figure shipping (I just tell it to use the calculator, since it might vary depending on how far it's being shipped), and you're set. It's not as intimidating as it looks (I'm a newbie, too! Only got things set up a week ago, but I've already had pictures go for $20 and $76, so it's definitely worth it!!).

Good luck! :)

Actually, you can easily get around the picture fees simply by uploading your pics to a site like Photobucket, and using the links in your auction. During the process of setting up your auction, you can use html in the design to make it look however you want. I make some pretty big scans to use in my auctions. The more pics you can provide of your item, the more interest you'll get. People won't bid on something they can't see.

But the process is really easy. And you can make some good money. :)
