Sometimes a day off just doesn't go as planned.

On the other hand, the unplanned bits haven't been too bad. I managed to have schrod at the Locke-Ober for lunch, I got a curtain for my kitchen out of the death throes of Filene's, and I scrounged a half-price ticket for tonight's performance of Spamalot.

The fanfic, however, is going nowhere fast...

Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Oh, yes, it's definitely had its compensations. It's just that I was hoping to get some writing done. Ah, well. Maybe the bunnies are all off drinking green beer.

Yep. Why not? A hundred words at a time is still a hundred words more than you had before, right? And when you finish, all those little paragraphs will line up nicely...and the water in the bathtub must be awful cold by now--no wonder certain hobbits are getting testy...
