I loved your integration of canon words with a deeper description of the character's feelings. It was so sad when the eagles dropped Sam and Frodo into the waiting arms of their friends, yet seemingly damaged almost beyond repair from the toxic world of Mordor. The healing scenes were wonderfully written too. This is a very nice, believable addition to quest-era fics. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
PS: Also have enjoyed all the wonderful drabbles. Sorry I haven't posted more often about them.
