Hmmm...at first I thought they were just making stuff up (not that you don't write like Doyle, 'cause you do, and it's awesome) but because on a whim I typed in some recipes for homemade hot wings and raspberry tarts and it said I wrote like Stephen King.
Now I'm not a huge Stephen King fan so that had me lolling pretty hard but, upon re-reading it, it DOES remind me a bit of his work.
Line after line describing in excruciating detail every component of what amounts to a couple of very simple dishes.

Go on, try it:

Directions
In a large, resealable bag, mix the orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, hoisin sauce, vegetable oil, sugar, ginger, and fresh garlic. Add chicken wings, seal, and shake to coat evenly. Refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Spread wings on foil with marinade, and bake for 45 minutes, until brown and shiny. Transfer to serving platter, and garnish with green onions.


1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (21 ounce) can raspberry, cherry or strawberry pie filling
Directions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add flour; mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls; press onto the bottom and up the sides of greased miniature muffin cups. Bake at 300 degrees F for 17-22 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes; carefully remove from pans. Spoon 1 teaspoon of pie filling into each tart.

Not sure the person who made this up knows Heyer. It seems to resort to James Joyce and Stephen King an awful lot.

By experimenting, I find that dialogue heavy stuff gets Stephen King, and description heavy stuff that isn't consciously using character names from well known older writers gets Chuck Palahniuk. In the same story...

I did get Mark Twain for my Emergency story though.
