pretty pictures

Starting to poke in a desultory fashion at the question of how to get an icon, and all I've really managed to do is find a whole lotta pictures that knock my socks off. It's more fun wandering around looking at scenery hobbits than reading a technical faq, anyway. And it's not like I have website to store the pictures on.

I never knew there were so many screencaps out there on the web! (I can't figure out how to make my computer even make one.)

if you have a free account, LJ will store three pictures for you - if you have a paid account you can have up to ten. you don't have to have outside web storage for your icons. I'd be happy to make you an icon, out of the picture you linked to or something else. Do you have some text you'd like to see on it?
