rabidsamfan: samwise gamgee, I must see it through (Default)

This I gotta try:

The "Stump the Author" meme -- I gacked it from [livejournal.com profile] cara_chapel because it looks like fun.

A-- go to my LOTR fanfiction and pick out a line or two from one of my stories.
B-- I will respond with which story I think it's from.
C-- I'll write a scene (in this case, a ficlet of 100-400 words) for the LOTR characters of your choice with the plot point of your choice to anyone who stumps me.
D-- If I get more than ten responses, I will do the first ten ficlets who stump me.

Obviously, you'd do well to pick something challenging, but unless it's really unique, I'm going to say it should be more than five words.

Have at thee!

You got it! And here I've been trying to be tricksy.

Okay. How about:

“You’re welcome,” Pippin said. “And Sam…”

Ah, now, there you've got me.

What do you want for your ficlet?

It was from Lost in Rivendell, just so you know.

*does a winner's dance*

All right, then. What I would like is Pippin. (something that shows how charming and wonderful he is, and I do like how you write him, and mildly slashy would not be a bad thing in the book of Dana.)

Yes, I would like some Pippin. I have no time-specifics, really, or anything other than that. (It's too early for me and I have too much of a headache to go for specifics.)

Okay, let me think on it.
