You finally make it into work and discover that you'd forgotten about a program that was supposed to happen, forgotten about some paperwork that was supposed to go in, and completely forgotten that your place of employment was going to be closed for a local holiday on Thursday.

And no, it's not for St. Patrick's day. It's for Evacuation Day -- the day the British left Boston during the Revolutionary war.

But the most truly excellent news is that I stopped at Borders on the way home and they have a lovely sale where you buy a children's DVD and get 25% off any other regularly priced DVD -- including boxed sets. I just saved fifty bucks on the complete Monty Python.

Sistah! I got the complete Monty Python from their web site, but it was a few years ago, and is on video. *feels dated*

If you saw the collection of videos that I have (and still watch) you wouldn't feel so dated. After all, some of mine are Beta!
