Still a bit windy

And looking at the news I see trees down all over the state, but my little corner of the world seems to have gotten through with just a whole lotta leaves down. Of course, we lost all the weakest tree limbs to a thunderstorm about a week ago, so that might explain it.

Compared to the rest of the summer it's gotten darn cold though!

56 with a 53 wind chill here (instead of a heat index lol) - hugest gust today was 27 mph and it's been mostly light to medium rain with under 10 mph winds -- nothing much for us -- lots of flooding for friends and faire sites we work/attend.

I am SO glad Irene came and went with no serious (so far as hurricanes go) damage! I had such a superstition about it being so close to the date of Katrina's anniversary. I'm glad it's over!
