Insulation is amazingly effective. Our pipes at work are not insulated and I let the water run and run in the sink so I can wash my poor old arthritic hands in hot water because the effect of the cold water on them is paralyzing. You a smart girl ; ) Good for you!

LOL I even bought little quilted bonnets for my outdoor faucets for the winter time : )
