Star Trek

Soooo, I've been pretty much ignoring the new Star Trek movie. Aware it was there, but not really looking at reviews or stuff, because even though Trek was my first real fandom, I'd kind of faded away from it along the way. (Hey, after the first couple of decades I got busy...)

Then a friend of mine sent an email asking if I wanted to go with her tonight to the seven o'clock showing. Two people going to a maybe so/maybe no movie means that if it turns out to be a turkey you can always poke fun at it together. And I've been hankering after popcorn. So I went.

Guh...


Go. Just go. Really. They've got a couple plotholes big enough to drive a starship through, but believe me, that's the whole point.

Now I need to go topple.
